I love music. Creating artwork for an artists album or single cover is something I can bang out quickly and it never gets boring. It never feels like work. Here are some work samples that I’m proud of.

Cheat Sheets–13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don’t Do (Book)
This was a graphic design project for a children’s book. Amy Morin, the author, wanted cheat sheets she could email to the purchasers of her book (13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don’t Do) as a free bonus.
She wanted something simple and visually appealing. By using combinations of shapes, colors, graphics, and anything else I saw fit, I was able to come up with the finished product you see above. The client also wanted a picture of the book cover on each page.
Lastly, I made sure all the sheets looked similar with slight variations to maintain branding consistency.
National Academy of Design Board Member Manual
I really enjoyed working on this project for the National Academy of Design. The project scope included an 85-page manual for the organization’s board members (a group of well-respected artists and architects).
This comprehensive guide included background information about the academy, official documents, images, and detailed information about their board and staff members.
Check it out! Simply scroll through the PDF. The tools I used were Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
Fabricatedminds Logo
Fabricatedminds is an ongoing personal project of mine. It’s a society I created for people that share my interest in fashion, art, and culture—three things I love. I envision a brand with a strong following made up of people that share my passion.
I launched a website with a blog to compliment it back in November 2013. The content consisted of insightful posts about different cultures around the world, traditional and modern fashion trends, and art sightings of all kinds—abstract, observational, and crafts.
I’m currently preparing to revamp the website, re-launch the blog, organize a team, and work on a plan to incorporate events into the mix.
Lastly, in case you didn’t notice, I drew inspiration from this logo design to create the logo for this site.
Dopeshack
This is a logo I created for a music blog back in 2013 (Time flies!). As you can see from the design, I used the concept of a text based logo with a single icon in place of the letter A.
KH Bowen Co.
This is a logo design I did for a startup marketing agency. The client wanted something simple and clean, so I gave him a logo with design elements focused on elements like the font and lines. It’s important to have colorful logos, but overdoing it can backfire. Think about it, some of the most famous logos are actually in black and white. Like Nike, Apple, etc. However, in certain cases colors are of importance.

Donor Impact Flyer
Donor Impact is a data analytics tool that was created to help fundraisers zero in on people that are most likely to donate to their nonprofit. The platform provides deep insights into an organization’s list of contacts— spending patterns, household income, etc. It reveals answers to questions about an individual’s financial capacity to give, likelihood to give(propensity), and potential lifetime value to an organization.
Donor Surveys Guide [Report]

Paris Midi Logo
Logo design for a French restaurant. Per request, I drew inspiration for the design from the Paris metro and the Seine, a 777-kilometre long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France.
